in accursed tongues ... a Thousand Dead Names!

Lo, the Locks on the Gates do rust
with each scarlet drop that wets the dust

...to limn forbidden signs
and force foul stars to align
to break the Cosmic chains that bind
the Dreaming Dead in depths confined!

May sink
and what has sunk
may soon rise
when the Gods of Man
wither in fear
as formless shadows
swarm the skies...
